Our mission is to help kids build confidence, make lifelong friends, and create lasting memories through various activities, arts and crafts, improversation, dance, staging and more. Position Overview: As a Camp Counselor, you will be responsible for the safety, well-being, and enjoyment of a group of campers throughout the summer. You will engage with children in a variety of activities, assist with camp logistics, and create a fun and positive camp experience. This position requires an outgoing personality, high energy, patience, creativity, and the ability to work well in a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and engage with campers in a variety of activities.
  • Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive camp culture where all campers feel safe, valued, and encouraged.
  • Lead and participate in camp activities, following schedules and promoting fun, teamwork, and skill development.
  • Communicate effectively with campers, staff, and parents as needed.
  • Enforce camp rules and safety procedures, ensuring the well-being of all campers.
  • Encourage socialization, teamwork, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Participate in staff training and ongoing meetings throughout the summer.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Previous experience working with children (e.g., babysitting, tutoring, sports coaching, etc.) is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other staff members.
  • Enthusiasm for camp activities and creating a positive experience for kids.

Preferred:

  • Experience in theatre and the arts.
  • Certification in first aid, CPR, or other relevant qualifications.
